Jezebel April 16, 1993- March 27, 2014

My sweet tortoiseshell kitty, Jezebel, who we got when I was only 34, passed away last Thursday morning in the arms of my eldest daughter. We knew the end was coming as she was rapidly declining in the prior week-- took her to the vet on Tuesday, but she was still alert and moving around. He told us he heard another heartbeat-- which indicated heart failure. On Wednesday, she refused both food and water. We kind of knew this was coming because of her advanced years, but that doesn't make it any easier... I still look for her everywhere around the house.

Rest in peace, sweet girl...
