Happy Mardi Gras!

To celebrate Mardi Gras, I decided to make Paul Prudhomme's Seafood Dirty Rice for dinner. Yummy!

This is my Mardi Gras manicure... Orly Space Cadet topped with China Glaze's Golden Enchantment. Space Cadet is from the Orly Cosmic Fx Collection, 2010, and Golden Enchantment is from the Fashion Fairy Collection. Space Cadet is a duochrome-- reddish purple with green, gold, and pink flashes. Every way you tilt your hand, the color will change. Golden Enchantment is a golden holographic topcoat, which I added to get just a tiny bit more flash for Mardi Gras!

New Scarf

Latest scarf... knitted in Sitar by Nashua Handknits, the colorway is Gypsy Wagon. This is a wool/acrylic blend and very soft. I fringed it in mohair.

Polish of the Day

Candy Shop by Deborah Lippmann...bubble gum pink base with multi-colored glitter. I love, love, love this polish!! It makes me think of birthday cakes and fiestas and cascarones!! Fun color that made me smile every time I looked at my manicure...great formula and good wear.
